Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 lineup is now official with the choice of Intel and AMD processor in both the 13.5 and 15-inch models. The Surface Laptop 4 adapts the premium, compact, and sleek design that makes the laptop perfect for office work, and as it is lightweight there is no issue carrying from one place to another.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 comes powered with Intel’s latest 11th generation processor or AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series chipset. But it’s quite unsatisfactory that the company hasn’t bundled the latest AMD 5000 series chipsets. But it is notable that the performance of AMD variant is comparable to the Intel variant.
The company states that the new generation surface laptop brings 70 per cent more performance compared to the previous. The company also confirmed that the 13.5-inch model will provide 19 hours of battery life and the 15-inch model will provide 17.5 hours of battery life.
The laptop comes with a single USB Type-C port, one USB Type-A port, an audio jack, and Microsoft’s Surface Connect port for charging. The base model includes an AMD Ryzen 5 4680U processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The next model is powered with an Intel Core i5 1135G7 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The third model sports AMD Ryzen 7 4980U Soc coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage but it will launch later The last model is powered with Intel Core i7 1185G7 processor coupled with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 base model with AMD Ryzen 5 and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at just $999. The base model of Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM and 512GB of storage retails at the same price. The 15-inch model with AMD Ryzen 7 4980U paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and goes up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage for $1,699. The top model with Intel Core i7 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage starts at $1,799 and goes up to $2,399 for 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. All the models will go for sale starting from April 15 in the United States, Canada, and Japan.
