Microsoft Surface Duo 2 spotted on Geekbench key specifications revealed. It is the successor to the Microsoft Surface Duo that was revealed back in August last year. The Surface Duo debuted with Snapdragon 855 while its successor is expected to come with Snapdragon 888. Today, a Tech blog named Naxon Tech spotted the Geekbench listing that was independently verified by us.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 spotted on Geekbench
As per the Geekbench listing, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 will come powered with a Qualcomm octa-core chipset including 1 x Core clocked at 2.84GHz, 3 x Core clocked at 2.42 GHz, and 4 x Cores at 1.80GHz. As per the source code, the phone will come with Adreno 660 GPU which indicates that the Duo 2 will comes equipped with Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The smartphone is able to grab a score of 1071 in single cores and scores 3166 in multi-cores on Geekbench 5. The device is listed with 8GB RAM and may come in other RAM variants as well. The phone will come running on Android 11 with the company’s custom skin on top.
Earlier, a leaked video on Youtube tipped the overall look of the Surface Duo 2. The Duo 2 will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup and an improved 360-degree rotatable hinge. It will arrive in two color options black and white. However, the Surface Duo 2 is expected to launch in October but the company hasn’t announced or teased the launch date yet.
