Meditek has introduced two new Chipset MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 for providing better gaming experience in entry-level smartphones. Mediatek uses Mediatek’s HyperEngine Technology in both of the chips that providing smooth performance, enhanced power efficiency, and reliable, low-latency connections in the budget-friendly smartphones.
Today, Mediatek has launched two chipsets Mediatek Helio G25 and G35, specially designed for entry-level smartphones. They are both Octa-Core processors and supports the same integrated IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Both of the chipsets come with WorldMode modem include essential dual 4G SIM support allowing VoLTE/ViLTE on both connections.
Mediatek Helio G35 specification
Mediatek Helio G35 chipset is built on 12-nanometer technology. It is a fast Octa-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU with peak speeds of 2.3GHz. It comes with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU which renders up to a speed of 680MHz and supports sharp, high-resolution FullHD+ (20:9) displays. In terms of the camera department, Helio G35 includes support two 13-megapixel cameras or a single 25-megapixel camera, both can record videos up to 30fps.
Additionally, it supports AI Beautification, AI Smart Photo Album, Single-Cam/Dual-Cam Bokeh; Electronic image stabilization (EIS); Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC) engine; Multi-Frame Noise reduction. The chipset support both LPDDR3 and LPDDR4x RAM up to 6GB. the Helio G35 is compatible with 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and FM Radio and can also support two 4G-powered SIM cards with Volte simultaneously.
Mediatek Helio G25 specification
Mediatek Helio G25 has the same 12 nm Octa-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU with peak speeds of 2.0 GHz. Like G35, Mediatek provides the same IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU in the chipset. It supports a maximum display resolution of 720×1,600 pixels. Helio G25 includes support of dual 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel cameras or a single 21-megapixel camera. The chipset comes with the same camera features, same RAM support, as well as the same connectivity options as the MediaTek Helio G35.
Redmi 9A is the first Smartphone powered by MediaTek Helio G25 while Redmi 9C and Realme C11 both are equipped with MediaTek Helio G35 Gaming Chipset. Both the MediaTek Chipsets will provide immersive Gaming Experience in Entry-Level Smartphones.
