Maruti Paushmas during the rainy season! The rush to book the new Maruti Suzuki Invicto is overwhelming

Maruti Suzuki has launched its most expensive MPV Invicto in the Indian market this week. It is the rebadged version of Toyota Innova Hycross. The car is priced at Rs 24.79 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in two variants – Zeta+ and Alpha+. Maruti Suzuki Invicto can be bought in two seat configurations – 7 and 8. Its top-spec model is priced at Rs 28.42 lakh. Bookings for the car started on June 19 for Rs 25,000. The company claims that more than 6,200 bookings have come in before the launch. Which is quite an achievement for such an expensive car.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Waiting Period

The Invicto car is manufactured in the country at Toyota’s Vidadi plant in Karnataka. For example, Maruti Grand Vitara came as a rebadged model of Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider. Both these cars are also manufactured at Bidadi factory. Hycross currently has a waiting period of over two years. On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the delivery of its newly launched vehicle. As a result, the volume of bookings is increasing. Which may temporarily affect the sales of Hycross.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Engine Specifications and Features

Being a rebadged model of the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Invicto is almost identical in terms of technical specifications. It has a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine and an electric motor. Their combined output is 184 hp and 188 Nm of torque.

Maruti Suzuki claims that the car will take 9.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. And will give 23.24 km mileage on 1 liter of petrol. Which is a notable feature of this model. Features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

There is also a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and ventilated front seats. Safety features include six airbags, ABS, electronic parking brake, stability control and hill start assist.
