Maruti Nexa completes 8 years in India, providing world-class service to 20 lakh customers

Maruti Suzuki sells premium cars through separate showrooms in India. Their premium dealership channel is called – Nexa. Which was first launched by the company in 2015. Today the Indo-Japanese company announced the completion of 8 years of Nexa. Under the umbrella of this channel, more than 2 million customers have associated themselves with Maruti so far. Currently, Maruti Suzuki has more than 460 world-class Nexa showrooms in more than 280 cities in India.

Maruti Suzuki Nexa enters 8th year in India

After the launch of the Invicto MPV, Maruti currently sells a total of eight models under the Nexa. The remaining seven models are – Baleno, Ciaz, Grand Vitara, Jimny, Fronx, Ignis and XL6. Hybrid technology and off-road vehicles sold under Nexa are playing a significant role in Maruti’s SUV sales.

Nexa contributes significantly to the company’s total vehicle sales. From 5% in 2015, it increased to 31% in the first quarter of 2023-24. In 2015, only the S-Cross and Baleno were sold under the Nexa. The first model has now been discontinued. It was replaced by the Grand Vitara. Its new generation model was launched last year itself.

In 2017, Ignis and Ciaz were brought under Nexa. The XL6 was introduced in 2019. In 2023 three models were added in succession – Fronx, Jimny and Invicto. This brand provides multiple digital services for the convenience of customers. E.g. – Car buying experience through digital medium, various services including financing solutions.
