Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its biggest and most advanced car ever, the Invicto in India today. In the past few years Maruti has joined hands with another famous Japanese car manufacturer Toyota to develop several new models like Baleno, Grand Vitara etc. In the same way, this new Multipurpose Vehicle (MPV) of Maruti has been modeled after the Toyota Innova Hycross.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto is launching tomorrow
For several months, various rumors about the launch of this new car came to light. Last week, Maruti leaked information about several important features of the car. These include panoramic sunroof, rear sunshade, ventilated front seats, power seats, 360 degree parking camera, etc. The Indo-Japanese automaker started taking advance bookings for the Invicto from 19th of last month.

The new car is built on Toyota’s own TNGA-C platform. Maruti Invicto will be available in seven seater and eight seater configurations. The car was first glimpsed on Maruti’s official website last month. Since then, various pictures and videos have been leaked on the internet. According to the information available so far, the price of Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be above 20 lakh rupees which is the highest in the history of Maruti.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Engine Specifications
Maruti Suzuki has also informed that this new multipurpose vehicle will have the 2.0 liter strong hybrid engine of Toyota Innova Hicross. Mated to e-CVT transmission, this engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 183 HP. Its mileage will be relatively high due to hybrid technology. Also this car is likely to have another 2.0 liter petrol engine option. The power output from the petrol engine is 173 HP. Even this car is the first car from Maruti to have only automatic transmission system available.
