Mahindra Thar Roxx was launched last night after ending the wait. It is the five door version of Mahindra's hugely popular Thar. The price of the petrol version of the new avatar of this car known for off-roading starts at Rs 12.99 lakh. On the other hand, the diesel variant has a starting price of Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra Thar Roxx: Engine and Transmission
Mahindra Thar Rox is offered with petrol and diesel engine options. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, Mstallion Turbo petrol engine will produce 160 bhp of power and 330 Nm of torque. Also, 150 horsepower and 330 Nm will be available from the Thar Rox's 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, Mhawk engine. Buyers will get six-speed manual and automatic gearbox options.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: Design and Features
The five-door Mahindra Thar Roxx looks very strong. It gets new grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlamps, circular fog lights, dual-tone alloy wheels, rectangular LED taillights, and tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The car has excellent road presence due to its long wheelbase. The cabin has more features than the three door model.
The Mahindra Thar Rox adds a lot of driving assistant features via a panoramic sunroof, digital instrument console, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, Harman Kardon sound system, large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and ADUS system.
