Mahindra recently made a splash by launching the Thar Roxx, the biggest and most advanced version of the Thar. Suitable for off-roading, this five-door SUV starts at Rs 12.99 lakh. The company did not reveal the certified mileage of the car at the time of launch. But after a long wait now ARAI certified mileage of Mahindra Thar Roxx has been revealed.
Mahindra Thar Rox is available in two engine options – 2.2 liter TGDi petrol and 2.0 liter CRDi diesel engine. Available with six speed manual and torque converter unit. The company claims that the Thar petrol mileage is 12.40 km/litre. On the other hand, the diesel engine will get a mileage of 15.20 km per litre.
Remember, these are certified mileage. However, Mahindra has also revealed real world mileage. The 4×2 diesel automatic version will get a mileage of 10.82 kmpl under real-world conditions. This is the case for city driving. On the other hand, the highway mileage will be 15.44 km. Combining the two brings the figure to 11.97 kmpl.
Talking about features, Mahindra Thar Rox offers digital instrument console, panoramic sunroof, large touchscreen ventilated front seats with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, automatic climate control, Harman Kardon sound system, and advanced driver assistance system.
