Mahindra has gained considerable reputation in the Indian passenger vehicle world. They are mainly known for making rough and tough cars. As the competition in the market is increasing, they no longer understand that the new model is the hope. So Mahindra is planning to launch 16 new SUVs in India. Their arrival by 2030 is outlined. According to the report, 9 of them are internal combustion engines or ICE, and the remaining 7 are electric cars.

Mahindra is bringing 16 new SUVs to India
As a future plan, Mahindra has decided to offer three mid-cycle updates to their existing models. One of which they have already brought to the market. This is the Mahindra XUV 3XO, which is the facelifted version of the Mahindra XUV 300. The updated version of the rest of the models is expected to be launched soon.
The upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door
Mahindra has been working on the much-awaited Thar 5-door for a long time. The off-road vehicle has been spotted testing several times while wrapped in admirable camouflage. Various reports claim that it may launch in the Indian market in August 2024. Updates include better technology, new features, better wheelbase and more cabin space. However, there is no confirmation from the company about the exact date of the launch.
Power and Engine
Presumably, the Mahindra Thar 5-door will be offered with the powertrain of the three-door version. The diesel engine produces 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Whereas the petrol version has an output of 150 bhp and 300-320 Nm. Again speculations are being heard, the new car may use a 1.5 liter diesel engine. So till the launch, it is not possible to say for sure.
The new generation Mahindra Bolero
The Mahindra Bolero car has also stepped up for the launch in a new avatar. It will be based on the U171 platform. Besides, the list of upcoming launches includes a 7-seater vehicle, a pickup truck and several other models.
