Leica Leitz phone 1 is the first smartphone from a well known German Camera Maker. The smartphone comes with a large image sensor, Snapdragon flagship chipset, OLED display, big battery, and more. Sharp is manufacturing in charge of the phone and it also has similar specs to “AQUOUS R6” but it is supervised by Leica.

A reliable Abhishek Yadav shared it on Twitter, Leica Leitz phone 1 features a 6.6 inches Pro IGZO OLED display with 2730 x 1260 resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. It is accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.



In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a single rear camera that includes 20-megapixel sensor and it is a super large 1-inch image sensor with f/1.9 aperture which also supports ultra wide angles and zoom up to 6x. Additionally the users can also take raw photos and has Leitz Looks mode in which you can click black and white photos. For selfies the phone sports a 12.6-megapixel front facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center.


The device comes running on Android 11 with a different UI compared to Aquous R6. The Leica Leitz phone 1 is equipped with a 5000mah battery. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port, and more. In terms of Dimensions, the phone measures 74 x 162 x 9.5mmand weighs 212 grams.

Leica Leitz phone 1 comes in a solo configuration of 12GB + 256GB for YEN 187,920 ( Rs. 1,25,400 approx ) and the phone is exclusively sold by softbank from july but interested buyers can pre register it from 18 june in Japan.
