Hero MotoCorp is busy diversifying its portfolio in India. This time the company is going to present the new version of one of their most popular commuter motorcycles Glamor 125. As an update, there is a new BS6 Phase-2 compliant engine. Adding to the speculation, some pictures of the bike are also being leaked. It is estimated that the new glamor will be launched before Puja.
New version of Hero Glamor 125 is coming
The new model of the Hero Glamor 125 will run on E20 fuel (a blend of 80% petrol with 20% ethanol). No difference in design is noticed. As before, there are single pod headlights, muscular fuel tank with shroud, a single piece seat, single piece grab rails, and alloy wheels on both sides. Hardware includes telescopic front forks and twin rear springs. Braking is handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the rear. Combined braking system is provided for safety.
Powering the wheels is the same 124.7 cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine in the new Hero Glamor. From which the maximum power of 10.72 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm will be generated. A 5-speed gear is provided to match the rhythm of the engine speed.
The new version of the leaked Hero Glamor 125 seems to be production ready. Delivery of the bike to dealerships may begin soon. It is very likely that the bike will appear in the market this year during the Puja season.
