Interested buyers can book the Harley-Davidson X440 from the company’s official website for Rs 5,000. Niranjan Gupta, Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp said, “We launched the X440 bike with an introductory price of Rs 2.29 lakh. We are now announcing the new prices before opening the next purchase window for online bookings. August 3 ie tomorrow is the last chance to buy this bike at the introductory price.
Talking about the performance, the bike has a 440 cc, air/oil cooled, single cylinder engine. Which will produce a maximum power of 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Mating the motor is a 6-speed gearbox. Based on a steel trellis frame, the motorcycle features a 43mm USD fork and twin shock absorber setup. Braking is provided by 320mm front rotor and dual channel ABS.
According to Hero, the production of the Harley-Davidson X440 is being increased to meet the huge demand. Hero will start manufacturing the model from September this year. It will be manufactured at the company’s factory in Rajasthan. Delivery will start from October. The company said that those who have booked earlier will be given delivery first.
