Kawasaki is going to launch a new motorcycle in the Indian market very soon. Named Kawasaki Versys X-300. It is expected to debut during the festive season i.e. October. The model is set to be the Japanese company's cheapest adventure bike in the country. It is coming to rival Royal Enfield Himalayan and KTM 390 Adventure.
The Kawasaki Versys X-300 is expected to be the only twin cylinder ADV bike under five lakh. The company is trying to localize bike parts as much as possible to launch them at competitive prices. The company took such a strategy with the Ninja 300 sports bike.
The Kawasaki Versus X-300 motorcycle will be powered by a 296 cc parallel twin engine, known for its refinement. It will produce 39 bhp of power and 26.1 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. This touring bike can be priced between Tk 3.6 lakh to Tk 3.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kawasaki's upcoming bike features lightweight yet durable spoke wheels. Due to the low seat height, shorter riders will not find it difficult to ride. Sitting position is upright. The front cowling and tall windshield offer wind and weather protection for enhanced comfort. There is ABS for safety.
