JioPhone 5G specifications and pricing have been tipped along with the launch timeline. The phone has been tipped to come with Qualcomm entry-level 5G chipset, dual rear camera, big battery, fast charging, LCD display, and more. Jio Next was revealed back in October last year is one of the cheapest entry-level Android smartphones in the market and now the company is planning to launch the cheapest 5G phone.

As per the Androidcentral report, JioPhone 5G will feature a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will come powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It will be accompanied by 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the smartphone will boast a dual rear camera that may include a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with Full-HD video recording @60 frames per second. For selfies, the phone may sport an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The smartphone will pack a 5000mah battery and may support 18W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone may include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NavIC, and USB Type-C port. The device will come running on Android 11 out of the box and may sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.

JioPhone 5G is going to be the cheapest 5G smartphone so it may cost less than Rs. 14,000 as there are other device offerings in this price range and it is expected to come between Rs. 9,000 and Rs. 12,000 for the base variant.
