iQOO Z6 5G was announced in India as the new 5G smartphone from Vivo’s sub-brand. It arrives as the successor of the iQOO Z5 5G but the company has degraded some of the specs compared to the previous device. The phone comes with Qualcomm’s 600 series 5G chipset, triple rear camera, fast refresh rate waterdrop display, big battery, fast charging, polycarbonate build, and more.

iQOO Z6 5G flaunts a 6.58 inches IPS LCD display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. In terms of camera, the smartphone features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. Keep that in mind the 4GB variant will not include the portrait lens.
Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 619. It is accompanied by a 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM variant and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. For connectivity, the device includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of Dimensions, the phone measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25mm and weighs 187 grams.
The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. Sensors onboard, the phone includes an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. For selfies, it comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The smartphone comes running on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 skin on top.

iQOO Z6 5G comes in three configurations:

- 6GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 16,999
- 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 17,999
The phone is offered in two color options namely Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black. The device will be available for purchase from Amazon.in and iQOO online store from March 22. The company offered Rs. 2,000 instant discount on HDFC credit card and EMI transactions on first sale.
