iQOO Z5x was revealed in the hometown “China” silently as the new budget 5G device from Vivo’s sub-brand. It is a toned-down version on iQOO Z5 that was revealed back in September. The Z5x comes with a MediaTek octa-core 5G chipset, dual rear camera, fast refresh rate waterdrop notch display, big battery, fast charging, and more.

iQOO Z5x features a 6.58 inches LCD display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 401 PPI screen density, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Mediatek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor that comes coupled with Mali G68 MC4 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the dewdrop notch with f/2.0 aperture. The device is running on Android 11 with Origin OS 1.0 on top.
The smartphone is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 44W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the device sports Gravity, Light, Proximity, Gyro, Electronic Compass, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of Dimensions, the iQOO Z5x measures 163.95 × 75.30 × 8.50mm and weighs 189 grams.

iQOO Z5x comes in three configurations:-
- 6GB + 128GB priced at 1,599 yuan
- 8GB + 128GB priced at 1,699 yuan
- 8GB + 256GB priced at 1,899 yuan
The smartphone comes in three color options namely Fog Sea White, Sandstone Orange, and Lens Black. The phone will go for pre-sale from October 20 at 8 p.m ( China timings ) onwards and it will go for sale from October 31 in China. The company hasn’t revealed the availability outside China yet.
