iQOO U5e was announced in China as the cheapest 5G device from the company. Vivo’s sub-brand already has two models under the iQOO U5 series, they are iQOO U5 and iQOO U5x. The new handset comes with an elegant design, MediaTek entry-level 5G chipset, waterdrop notch display, dual rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.
iQOO U5e Specifications and Features
iQOO U5e features a 6.51 inches IPS LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate, an HD+ resolution, 269 PPI pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. In terms of camera, the phone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The device sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch.
In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25mm and weighs 193 grams. Under the hood, the smartphone is fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz that comes coupled with Mali G57 MP2 GPU. It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage.
The handset is backed by a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is running on Android 12 with Origin OS Ocean skin on top. Additionally, the iQOO U5e comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.

iQOO U5e comes in two configurations:
- 4GB + 128GB priced at 1399 yuan
- 6GB + 1288GB priced at 1499 yuan
The phone comes in two color options namely Dark Black and Silver White. The device will be available in China only for now and there is no information regarding its availability outside China.
