iQoo 8 series has been launched with 120W fast charging and a 50MP triple rear camera setup in China. There are two smartphones in IQoo 8 series – iQoo 8 & IQoo 8 Pro. iQoo 8 series runs on Android 11 OS with OriginOS on top, the former version comes in White, Orange, Black color variants while the pro version features in White (BMW M branding) & Black color options.

iQoo 8 features a 6.56-inches AMOLED full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a centered positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The screen has 10-bit color, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, 92.76% screen-to-body ratio, and 398ppi pixel density. Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM + 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.


In terms of camera, iQoo 8 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel IMX598 (primary) sensor with an f/1.79 aperture + 13-megapixel sensor (ultra-wide) sensor with f/2.2 aperture + 13-megapixel (portrait) camera with f/2.46 aperture. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie snapper with an f/2.45 aperture.


For connectivity options, It has 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port. The sensor onboard includes the support of the ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, e-compass, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is backed by a 4,350mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. It measures 159.06×75.14×8.63mm and weighs 199.9 grams.

iQoo 8 Pro comes with a 6.78-inches AMOLED 2K (1,440×3,200 pixels) resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 92.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, 517ppi pixel density, and HDR support. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, Adreno 660 GPU, and coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM + 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.


In terms of optics, The phone has a 50-megapixel IMX766V sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and gimbal stabilization + 48-megapixel (ultrawide) sensor with f/2.2 lens + 16-megapixel (portrait) lens with f/2.23 aperture. For selfies & videos, the iQoo 8 Pro has a 16-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.


There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and packs a larger 4,500mAh battery with the support of 120W fast wired charging as well as 50W fast wireless charging. Lastly, In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 165.01×75.2×9.19mm and weighs 202.5 grams.


iQoo 8 series Price & Availability


iQoo 8 carries a price tag of CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 43,600) for the 8GB + 128GB storage model. The 12GB + 256GB storage option is priced at CNY 4,199 (around Rs. 48,200). On the other hand, iQoo 8 Pro has CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 57,300) for the 8GB + 256GB storage model, CNY 5,499 (around Rs. 63,100) for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant, and CNY 5,999 (around Rs. 68,800) for the 12GB + 512GB storage configuration.
