India's best again in Tata crash test! Punch EV set a record by getting 5 star safety rating

Tata Punch EV got 5 star rating from Bharat NCAP in safety test. As a result, it currently holds the title of the most secure electric car in the country.

Tata Motors comes first when it comes to car safety. The company's cars are so strong that it says look at me, then tell me another model. As a result, buyers get confused about which car to buy. Both the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari won the title of the safest SUV models by securing the highest marks for both adult and child occupants in tests conducted by Bharat NCAP, the country's vehicle safety assessment system. But the recently launched Tata Punch EV surprised by getting higher marks than the two in terms of safety.

Tata Punch EV received 5 star safety rating from Bharat NCAP

The Tata Punch EV has passed the Bharat NCAP with the highest five-star safety rating. This micro SUV has set a new precedent in terms of safety. In the crash test, it scored 31.46 out of 32 for adult passengers and 45 out of 49 for child passengers.

Tata Safari and Tata Harrier scored 30.08 out of 32 for adult passengers and 44.54 out of 49 for child passengers. As a result, you can understand that Tata Punch EV is able to provide more protection than the two cars. Experts claim that the model based on the Acti.ev platform is responsible for increased security. Tata's statement in this context, the new platform has been developed with safety in mind.

Incidentally, the Tata Punch EV is currently available in 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery options. The company claims that the two models have a range of 315 km and 421 km respectively on a full charge. The Long Range variant outputs 122 HP and 190 Nm. Whereas the regular variant produces 82 HP of power and 114 Nm of torque. Punch EV is priced between Tk 10.99 lakh to Tk 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
