The goal of the central government is to zero the emissions by 20. Tata Motors unveiled the country's first hydrogen -powered truck as the first company in India to make that plan a success. Tata Motors has already started the trial episode of this truck. The truck was inaugurated by Central Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Garakari. The company has announced a total of 5 trucks -driven hydrogen -driven trucks.
Tata Motors claims that the move will make the government's carbon -free plan further wide. It is reported that these 3 trucks will be used throughout the important freight corridor. These include routes around Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, Surat, Vadodara, Jamshedpur and Kalinganagar. The trial will run for the next 20 months. This truck is used in the new era hydrogen internal combustion engine (H2-value) and fuel cells (H2-FCEV) technology.
Tata started the country's first hydrogen -driven truck trial
Tata Motors claims that these trucks contain hydrogen internal combustion engine (H2-value) in addition to hydrogen fuel cell electric Vehicles (FCCV). Two types of trucks have been brought – one is named H.55s Prima Movers, and one TATA Prima H.28. The company also said that the operational range of 3 to 5 km can be found on the truck. There will be special features and advanced driver support protection to keep the driver comfort and fatigue.

I congratulate Tata Motors to lead this important step to enable hydrogen-powered environmentally friendly and smart transport. ”
