The prices of all electric two-wheelers across the country have been hiked since June, putting a strain on buyers’ pockets. Companies like Ola Electric, Ather Energy, TVS have already announced price hikes for their EV models. This time, Jaipur’s electric two-wheeler startup Hop Electric (Hop Electric) walked on the same path. In fact, the center has recently reduced the subsidy amount for the FEM-II scheme, due to which these rates have increased across India.
Hop Electric has increased the price of their electric scooters
Hop currently owns two electric scooters (Leo and Lyf) and an e-bike (Oxo). Hop Leo is available in both high and slow speed variants. The price of both these variants has been changed. The new high-speed and low-speed versions of the Leo are priced at Rs 97,500 and Rs 84,000 respectively (ex-showroom).
However, the company’s electric motorcycle Oxo has seen the opposite happen. Instead of increasing the price, it has been reduced a lot. Where earlier the e-bike was sold at Tk 1.65 lakh, now it will cost Tk 1.48 lakh. Hop Oxo is available in two variants – Oxo Prime and Oxo.
Oxo Prime offers a top speed of 82 km per hour and a range of 120 km in Eco and Power modes on a full charge. Where in sports mode runs 60 km. Another model Oxo-X with a top speed of 95 km per hour and a range of 150 km is being speculated. The bike is available in five colors – True Black, Twilight Grey, Electric Yellow, Magnetic Blue and Candy Red. It has a 3.75 kWh battery pack and a 5.2 kW electric motor.
