Huawei P50 4G and P50 Pro 4G launched with Snapdragon 888 4G SoC: Specs, Price

Huawei P50 4G and P50 Pro 4G launched with Snapdragon 888 4G SoCin China. It is the successor of the Huawei P40 series which was debuted earlier this year. Both the handset runs on Harmony OS 2 out of the box. Huawei P50 4G comes in Yao gold black, cocoa tea gold, snowy white color variants while the Pro version features two extra dawn powder & rippling clouds versions.

Huawei P50 4G specifications

Huawei P50 4G features a 6.5 inches OLED FHD+ (2700 x 1224 pixels) resolution panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a top centered positioned punch-hole cutout. Under the hood, The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and coupled with up to 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. Surprisingly, Qualcomm SD 888 is the flagship chipset and does support 5G connectivity but the Chinese tech company limited the connectivity option up to 4G only.

In terms of optics, The handset is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP (primary) camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS support + 13MP (ultra-wide-angle) camera with f/2.2 aperture + 12MP (telephoto) camera with f/3.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. It is backed by a 4100mAh battery with 66W fast wired charging technology. In terms of connectivity, It has Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, GALILEO, QZSS, & NavIC.

The sensor onboard includes a Gravity sensor, in-display fingerprint sensor, Hall sensor, Gyro, compass, Ambient light sensor, Proximity light sensor, and more. In terms of dimensions, The handset measures 156.5 mm x 73.8 mm x 7.92 mm thickness and weighs 181 grams. Additional feature includes dual stereo speakers, IP68 Water & Dust resistance, super slow motion recording and more.

Huawei P50 Pro 4G specifications

Huawei P50 Pro 4G boasts 6.6 inches OLED FHD+ (2700 x 1228 pixels) resolution display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 300 Hz touch sampling rate, and 450 PPI screen density. In terms of performance, the handset runs onKirin 9000 chipset and is paired with up to 12GB + 512GB storage. There is also another variant that is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. For optics, It has a Quad rear camera setup that includes a 50MP (primary) camera + 40MP (B&W) lens + 13MP (Ultrawide) sensor + 64MP (Telephoto) lens. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper.

Additional camera feature includes AI micro-motion moment, telephoto picture-in-picture, micro movie, audio zoom, time-lapse photography, super wide-angle, large aperture blur and more. It is backed by a 4360mAh battery and supports 66W fast wired charging. In terms of dimensions, The device measures 158.8 mm x 72.8 mm x 8.5 mm and weighs 195g. Similar to the P50 4G, It comes with an under-display fingerprint reader.
