Huawei MateBook X has been announced with 10th Gen Intel Core CPU in China. It packs with a pressure sensitive track pad and sleek design. The Chinese company offers magnesium aluminium alloy body that gives the laptop a premium feel and comes in four colour options. The Huawei MateBook X comes with Windows 10 Home Edition pre-installed.
Huawei MateBook X Specification
Huawei MateBook X features a 13-inch 3:2 aspect ratio touch screen with 3,000×2,000 pixels resolution, 90 percent screen to body ratio, and supports peak brightness of 400 nits with contrast ratio of 1,500:1. Under the hood, The Huawei MateBook X is powered with up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10510U CPU and Intel UHD Graphics. It is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM clocked at 2,133MHz and a 512GB NVMe SSD.
Huawei MateBook X packs with a 42Wh battery and four speakers with two microphones. For Connectivity options, It includes support of two USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0. It has an Island-style keyboard and a pressure sensitive multi-touch track pad. In terms of dimensions, the laptop measures 284.4×206.7×13.6mm and weighs slightlhy over 1kg.
The laptop offers Huawei Share option that allows Huawei phone owners to “clone” their phones on the laptop by just placing it on the track pad. Through this feature Users can easily operated their smartphone directly from the laptop in real-time. It allows for transferring files, editing documents, making and receiving calls and more.
Huawei MateBook X Price
The laptop comes in three variants. The base variant of Core i5/ 8GB/ 512GB variants carries a price tag of CNY 7,999 (around Rs. 86,700), the mid variant of Core i5/ 16GB/ 512GB variant costs CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 97,500), and, the high-end variant of Core i7/ 16GB/ 512GB variant costs CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs. 1.08 lacs). It comes in four colour options including green, grey, silver, and what seems to be rose gold. The laptop is currently on pre-order via Vmall and Official sale starting from August 24.
