Huawei Mate 40 Pro full specification has been leaked online ahead of its launch event which is scheduled to be held on 22 October. The smartphone will provide 5G connectivity, a Quad rear camera setup, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and more. Huawei Mate 40 Pro may run on EMUI 11.x on top of Android 10 out of the box without Google services and apps. It will come in two color options – Black and Silver.
The Chinese tech company is all set to launch its Huawei Mate 40 series but ahead of its official launch event, Huawei Mate 40 Pro full specifications have been circulated over the Internet.

According to the report, The Huawei Mate 40 Pro will feature a 6.76-inch OLED FHD+ (2772×1344 pixels) resolution display with a pixel density of 456 PPI. It is not confirmed yet whether the screen supports an increased refresh rate or not. Under the hood, It will be powered by the company’s latest HiSilicon Kirin 9000 SoC which performed slightly better than the current Snapdragon 865 Plus with similar clock rates. The chipset could be paired with ARM Mali-G78 GPU and may couple with 8GB of RAM + 256GB of internal storage. It is also expected that there will be also a variant of up to 12 gigabytes of RAM.
Coming to optics, The smartphone will be equipped with a quad rear camera setup that may include a 50-megapixel (primary) sensor with an f/ 1.9 aperture and an optical image stabilizer + 20-megapixel sensor (ultra-wide) sensor with an f/1.8 aperture + zoom -Camera with 12 megapixels resolution and f/3.4 maximum aperture size and the fourth sensor may be TOF or depth. The new camera system could record up to 8K videos and offers a 5x physical magnification for zoom recording as well. For selfies, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with a 13-megapixel camera with an F / 2.4 aperture, coupled with a 3D sensor.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro will pack a 4400mAh battery and may offer a maximum charging power of up to 65 watts via USB Type-C port (3.1 Gen 1). For connectivity, The smartphone will come with the support of Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and WiFi 6 support.
