Honor Play 5 Specifications has been tipped by a well known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station ahead of launch and yesterday HD renders of the smartphone has been shared by the GSMarena that tipped the overall look and design of the smartphone.

As per th tipster, the smartphone will feature a 6.53 inches OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will come powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-cores chipset coupled that comes coupled with Mali G57 MC3 GPU. The device will measure 7.46mm thick and will weigh 179 grams.
In terms of camera, the smartphone will boast a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device will be backed by a 3800mah battery and may support 66W fast charging as well.
The renders also tipped that the phone will come with a U shaped notch display and a quad rear camera setup at the back. The live image also suggested the flat edges and a sim card slot at the left edge and a microphone at the top side while the bottom and the right edge is not known.
However, the phone is expected to cost higher than the recently launched Honor Play 5T Youth Edition which was revealed with starting price of 1,299 yuan ( Rs. 14,860 approx ). The company hasn’t revealed anything yet about the smartphone but it is expected to launch soon.
