Honda has been able to revolutionize the two -wheeler car market in India by the hands of their Activa model. Their popularity in this country is so much that the name of the actver has become synonymous in the world of scooter. The Japanese company is planning to expand the portfolio in India. In the past few months, they have patent NX125, Beat and NPF 125 scooters. This time another popular scooter of Honda is coming to India.
Honda has recently patented another scooter named NWX125. The structure of this scooter sold in the international market is somewhat similar to the Dio model. The style is much different from the current generation scooters. This scooter, known for Sporty Graphics and Simple Riding Positions, is estimated to be a Honda superheat product in India.
Honda NWX 125 is operated by a 120cc air -cooled engine, which produces a maximum torque of 1.5 PS power and about 5 Newton meters. The scooter will have the performance enhanced ESP technology and fuel -efficient Idling Stop and Go System. As a result, it will be able to provide better mileage than other scooters in the same segment.
The scooter weighs about 5 kg and the ground clearance is about 5 mm. It is found in three variants in China. The base version contains drum brakes and the top model is available at the Combi Break system. If launched in India, TVS will compete with NTORQ, Suzuki Bergman, Yamaha Fascino and XOOM 125. However, it is not certain whether the patent or the purpose of the launch is to keep the IP safe.
