Last year Honda launched their first compact SUV in India, the Elevate. At that time, the Japanese company said that they will launch four SUVs by 2030. Including updated versions and new models. However, it is believed that Honda will refrain from launching new SUVs in India this year. Even in 2024, the company can bring only one model in this country. And that is the new generation Honda Amaze. Which can be launched before Puja.
The new Honda Amaze sedan can be seen with new design and features. Some design elements may be taken from the Honda City. Like front grill head lamp and tail lamp. Again the cabin design will be identical to the City. It may offer a new floating infotainment system and updated dashboard layout.
Other notable features include premium sound system, automatic AC, powered mirrors, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting etc. in the new Honda Amaze. The car may come with a segment-first electric sunroof. There may also be Advanced Driver Assistance System or ADAS (ADAS) features.
Talking about the performance, there is no change in the powertrain of the new Honda Amaze. As before, it will come with a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 89 bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque. Among the innovations, the car can be presented with factory fitted CNG. The price may be increased by Tk 1-1.2 lakh compared to earlier. Amaze is currently priced between Tk 10 lakh to Tk 14 lakh (ex-showroom).
