Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced seven-year extended warranty as standard on all four of its bikes. Honda already offers a standard warranty of three years, so users can enjoy up to 10 years of warranty for free. CB350, Hynes CB350, CB350RS, CB300F, and CB300R models will get this facility.
Remember, this offer will be extended to the first 10,000 customers till September 30. Another good news is that Honda's BigWing showrooms are offering a discount of Rs. This offer is valid till 30th September. The first 5,000 buyers will get the benefit of this discount.
Incidentally, while the Bigwing showroom used to sell only expensive premium motorbikes, recently it has been decided to have the Hornet 2.0 and CB200X models there. As a result of this, the company believes that besides the increase in sales, the number of customers will increase. These two bikes are currently priced at Rs 1.39 lakh and Rs 1.47 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). Both the bikes have the same engine.
The 184.4 cc single cylinder engine produces a maximum power of 17 bhp and 15.9 Nm of torque. The Hornet 2.0 is a street bike and CB 200X adventure tourer motorcycle. You will be surprised to hear that both the bikes are built on the same platform. It has digital instrument cluster, LED lights, dual disc brakes (one per wheel) upside down or USD fork and monoshock suspension.
