Honda Elevate appeared in the Indian market to frighten the lives of Hyundai, Kia. Honda has removed the curtain from this mid-size SUV today. Bookings for their first mid-size SUV model in the country will start from July. The price of the car is said to be announced during the upcoming festive season. Honda has announced that five new SUVs will be launched by 2023. One of which is They have set a target of producing only electric cars by 2040.
Honda Elevate SUV: Design and Interior
The Honda Elevate comes with a large grille with logo, sleek LED headlamps and taillamps and chrome touches all around. Exterior features include 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, functional roof rails and sharkfin antenna. The cabin features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone integration, a rear view camera and a 7.0-inch TFT digital instrument cluster. Where various information related to speedometer, ODO and ADAS will appear.
Honda Elevate SUV: Dimensions and Engines
The length, width, height and wheelbase of the Elevate are 4,312 mm, 1,790 mm, 1,650 mm and 2,650 mm respectively. It has 458 liters of boot space. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5 liter DOHC i-VTEC engine to provide the go-forward power. From which the maximum power of 119 HP and torque of 145 Nm will be generated. The car can be opted for two types of transmission – 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox.
Honda Elevate SUV: Safety Features, Possible Price and Rivals
Honda Elevate features ADAS function as a safety feature. These include – Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation System, Led Car Departure Notification, Lane Watch, Vehicle Ability Assist and Emergency Stop Signal. Also present are hill start assist, rear parking sensor and rear seat belt reminder.
The price of Honda Elevate can start from Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom). After the launch, it will compete with Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor and Toyota Hyruder.
