Ahead of the launch, Honda has announced the start of production of the new mid-size SUV Elevate. Production of the car has commenced at the company’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. Honda Elevate will be launched in this country in September. The Japanese company claims more than 90 percent localization. As a result, Honda is not expected to have much momentum in pricing lower than rivals.

The car made in India will also make its debut in the global market. Meanwhile, in addition to the launch in September, Honda Cars India is preparing to start delivery from that month. The company has already started accepting bookings for Elevate. The model became the center of attraction of numerous avid buyers as soon as it was unveiled due to its muscular design.
“Man Maximum Machine Minimum” – Elevate is built on this company ethos. It is claimed to have significant cabin space. Passengers will not have any difficulty in keeping their head, knees and feet. Again 458 liters of cargo space is available. The exterior design of the car is quite bold and muscular with a flat front profile. Due to which its road presence is expected to be high.
The Honda Elevate will be available in multiple color options. Which includes both single and dual tone options. Namely – Phoenix Orange Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Silver Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
Honda Elevate gets a 1.5 liter iVTEC DOHC petrol engine to provide the power to move forward. It can be bought with both 6-speed manual and CVT gearboxes. The motor will produce a maximum power of 119 bhp and a torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm.
