Honda recently applied for a patent in India for the NX125 scooter sold internationally. The Japanese company has now patented another scooter called Beat in this country. One of the highlights of the Honda Beat model is the large wheels. It has 14 inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Honda Beat uses a 109.5 cc air-cooled engine, which produces 9 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 9.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. You will be surprised to hear that the bore and stroke of this engine match the hugely popular Activa. More power and mileage. Honda Beat is able to run 58.2 kilometers on 1 liter of petrol.
The Honda Beat features telescopic forks and monoshock units for front and rear suspension. Its suspension setup is quite tall compared to other scooters sold in India. There are disc brakes at the front. For those who are used to riding bikes, the 14-inch wheels will provide stability on the road.
Honda Beat is a feature rich scooter. It has keyless ignition (available on the top variant), anti-theft alarm, USB charging port, LED headlights and combi braking system. The scooter has a seat height of 241 km and weighs 87/88 kg depending on the variant. Honda has not yet announced when it will launch this scooter in India.
