Hero Xtreme 125R has gained immense popularity within few days of its launch. Priced under Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), high-tech features on top of it and a design as compelling as a higher cc bike – all in all the bike is selling like crazy. The company is struggling to meet the demand. That's why Hero is planning to increase the production of Xtreme 125R bike.
Production of Hero Xtreme 125R will be increased
Let it be known that currently 10,000 units of Hero Xtreme 125R are manufactured every month. Despite this amount of production, the company has to gain momentum to meet the needs of customers. Hence the plan to increase production. Hero is hopeful that it can be implemented before the puja. Because the demand for bikes is highest at that time every year.
The company plans to produce 1,000 units of Extreme 125R per day. In that case 30,000 units of bikes will be produced in 30 days i.e. in one month. That is, the production will increase three times compared to the present. As a result, even with 20,000 to 25,000 model books per month, it will be easy to meet the demand of Hero Xtreme 125R. Also, the waiting period will be reduced, i.e. after booking the bike, customers will not have to wait long for delivery.
Hero Xtreme 125R is an entry level premium bike in the 125 cc segment. It has won the hearts of buyers due to its bold design and mind-blowing features. It features a 124.77 cc, single cylinder engine that produces 11.4 bhp of power at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The Hero bike gives a mileage of 56 km on one liter of fuel. It is available in two variants – IBS and Single Channel ABS. The two models are priced at Rs 95,000 and Rs 99,500 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi).
