Hero is bringing the new Vida electric scooter to India
Despite being the largest two-wheeler company in India, Hero was a bit late in bringing electric scooters. However, later they launched the e-scooter under the Vida sub brand showing enough urgency. They currently have two EV models in their portfolio. They are priced between 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh. But this time Hero is going to bring another new model in the market to survive the fight and increase the market share.
Incidentally, Hero MotoCorp has already spread its Vida brand in more than 120 cities. The company has more than 180 touch points in this country. Again, Hero is working hand in hand with Ather Energy, the country's leading electric scooter manufacturer, to reduce the worries of Vida electric scooter users about charging. As a result, they have access to 2000 charging points in 200 cities.
Incidentally, Hero Motocorp has started the financial year 2024-25 with great response. They sold 5,33,585 motorcycles and scooters in April. Hero's two-wheeler demand increased by 34.7 percent compared to the same period last year. Hero has managed to sell 4,96,542 bikes in the Indian market alone in the previous month.
