Hero MotoCorp couldn’t get complacent with the recent arrival of the Xtreme 160R 4V. So this time Xtreme 200S 4V was launched with four-valve. It comes with some technical updates and new paint scheme. Every 200cc bike of the company is now updated with four-valves. Hero Xtreme 200S 4V : Engine Update
The Xtreme 200S 4V is powered by a four-valve 199.6 cc, single cylinder, oil cooled engine that produces 18.9 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. 5-speed gearbox connected to the motor. 6% more power and 5% more torque than the previous model. Again the engine is capable of running on E20 fuel (a blend of 80% petrol and 20% ethanol).

The new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V can be chosen in three new dual tone color schemes – Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic and Stealth Edition. Apart from that, not much change was noticed in the design.

The Xtreme 200S 4V gets petal disc brakes on both wheels along with single channel ABS to handle the braking duties. There are telescopic front forks and rear gas charged monoshock suspension setup. It is a 7-step adjustable unit.

Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is priced at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom). 6,000 more than the 2V version. The rival models of the bike in the country are – Bajaj Pulsar 220F, Bajaj Pulsar F250, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
