Infinix Note 40 Pro, Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G launched to rival Redmi, Realms

Finally Infinix today took the wraps off their much awaited Infinix Note 40 series. This latest lineup has been launched in Malaysia and includes a total of four devices including Standard, Pro, Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G. The standard and Pro models of these come as successors to the Infinix Note 30 and Note 30 Pro that will launch in 2022. All models of the latest Note 40 series feature the same design with the latest Halo AI lightning effect. Let us now know in detail about the price, all the specifications and features of the two models of Note 40 series with 4G connectivity, i.e. Infinix Note 40 and Infinix Note 40 Pro.

Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro specifications and features

The Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, offering FullHD+ resolution, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard model has a flat screen, while the Pro model comes with curved edges. Both the devices have an in-display fingerprint scanner embedded.

In terms of design, the Infinix Note 40 and 40 Pro have a flat frame. A square camera module is present on the rear panel of the devices, which includes three sensors and an ‘Active Halo’ LED. This light changes depending on many things like incoming call, notification, charging indicator.

For photography, the standard Infinix Note 40’s triple rear camera setup includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and an AI lens. Meanwhile, the Note 40 Pro also has the same primary sensor, but this camera supports optical image stabilization (OIS). Besides, its camera setup includes a 2-megapixel secondary camera, along with another 2-megapixel third lens. For selfies, both phones have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of performance, both the Infinix Note 40 and 40 Pro 4G handsets are powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 Ultimate processor. Both the phones offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. Also, they will support up to 16 GB of virtual RAM. In terms of power backup, the Infinix Note 40 and 40 Pro 4G use a powerful 5,000 mAh battery. However, the standard variant comes with 45W fast charging technology, while the Pro model supports 70W wired fast charging speed. Besides, both the Infinix phones have 20W wireless charging support.

Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro price and availability

The price of Infinix Note 40 in the US market starts from $199 (roughly Rs. 16,500). And the base variant of the higher-end Note 40 Pro 4G is priced at $259 (roughly Rs. 21,500). However, the price of smartphones will vary depending on the region. The phones will be available for sale in global markets from March 19 onwards. The company is yet to confirm the price of the Infinix Note 40 series phones in India and when they will be available.
