Hero MotoCorp has long-term plans to make premium motorcycles its own place in the market. Recently the company launched the X440 in association with the iconic American brand Harley-Davidson. This bike is considered to be the starting point of Hero in the world of premium models. In the future, they will introduce multiple 440 cc bikes based on the X440 platform. In addition to this, Hero is bringing an exciting model in the popular 200 cc segment. The legendary bike Karizma is being brought back in a new avatar. The bike will enter the market in a new form called Hero Karizma XMR. Leaked design patents ahead of launch have boosted the incentive several fold.
Hero Karizma XMR: Design Patent Leaked
This initiative is by Hero to increase the capacity of 200 cc bikes. The company has already showcased the upcoming Karizma XMR in front of its dealers in the country. Which hints at the launch of the bike and the start of its production soon. Again, its leaked patent images give us a detailed idea of the styling.
The new generation XMR model of Karizma will come with attractive full-fairing. Visually it is capable of catching anyone’s eye. Because compared to 2014 Hero is going to make the design of the bike more amazing. Talking about the overall design, it has a tall tank, sporty split seat setup, clip on handlebar and upswept exhaust.
The new Karizma XMR will be Hero’s flagship model. Size will be larger in size. To say that this is the most sporty bike of Hero. It will be powered by a 210 cc liquid cooled engine, a first in Hero’s history. However, it is not possible to say anything about the power and launch period of the bike.
