Great hint! Ola Electric took more than two hundred patents beating the big companies

According to Intellectual Property India statistics, Ola filed 205 patents in India in 2022-23. Which has overtaken TVS, Suzuki, Honda too.

Ola Electric has filed 205 patents in various fields of electric vehicle technology. These include innovations in battery technology, electric vehicle software, vehicle safety and security, motor and transmission, vehicle body components, and artificial intelligence and ancillary technologies.

It is known that in the early stages, the electric vehicle manufacturing company focused on design and development. Which included the battery pack, motor and vehicle frame. According to reports, Ola recently filed a design patent for a new electric vehicle. Which is a suitable model for last-mile delivery and various commercial applications.

In terms of design, it is an electric scooter of a slim model. It will be based on a barebones chassis. The floorboard will be large enough to carry luggage. Incidentally, Ola Electric has filed various patents not only in India but all over the world. For example, a total of 10 patents have been registered by Ola in the US, UK, China and the Netherlands. There are 37 patents in various markets in Japan, Australia and Europe.

It may be noted that Ola witnessed huge registrations in February. Stats say that last month they received a total of 35,000 unit registrations in the S1 range. Which is the most in a month so far in the company’s history. And Ola’s market share has increased to 42%. On the other hand, Ola has announced to extend the validity of their discount from February 29 to March 31, 2024. As a result, the company has given one more opportunity to those who decided to buy an electric scooter with a discount of up to 25,000 rupees.
