The happiness of WhatsApp users seems to be increasing as the instant messaging platform has been rolling out new features one after the other from audio status to new main screen, chat lock etc. in these few weeks. If you are using the calling option of WhatsApp often, then there is another good news for you today. In fact the social media company owned by Meta is soon to launch a new call-back service for missed calls.
So far WhatsApp’s Android beta users have had early access to most of the new features, but the upcoming calls feature will be available on Windows. Those interested in using it need to visit the Microsoft Store and download the latest beta version of WhatsApp.
WhatsApp Brings New Call Back Button, How Does It Work?
As reported by WABetaInfo, the company has now added a new call back button on the Windows platform, which will display a message with a missed call warning. And there will also be a call back button inside the chat, which you can tap to call. No need to find it separately.
But remember, since this button is in testing, only select users (on WhatsApp Beta Windows 2.2323.1.0 version) will have access to it for now. Gradually it will roll out for everyone. That means if you still haven’t got the update in the Microsoft Store, you’ll have to wait a few days.
More features are coming
Apart from the new call back button, WhatsApp is also said to be rolling out screen sharing feature and edit button feature universally. Earlier these features were in the hands of beta users, but now they are rolling out to all users. A redesigned emoji keyboard will also be available in the coming days.
