After Mumbai, Vodafone-Idea (VI) launched 5G services in Chandigarh and Patna. Until now, the 5G network of VI was limited to Mumbai Circle. A limited number of prepaid and postpaid customers were getting the benefit of the high-speed Internet. This time the same service was launched for customers of Chandigarh and Patna. Vodafone Idea is expected to deliver 5G services to other cities in the country.
Vodafone Idea 5G service can be found in Chandigarh and Patna
According to VI, customers of Chandigarh and Patna will be able to use 5G Internet on their smartphone from April 25. The company is using Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Self-Organizing Network (SON) technology to improve this network and to better experience customers.
The new service is working jointly with VI, Samsung to roll out. Both companies are working to expand the network by setting up 3G towers in cities through advanced technology. Vodafone Idea has also announced that they are planning to launch 5G services in Bengaluru and Delhi next month.
Keeping in mind, you need to recharge any Unlimited, Hero Unlimited or Super Hero Prepaid Plan to use the 5G service of VI. Then the unlimited 5G data facility will be available.
Vodafone Idea says they are already providing 5G services to the five major cricket stadiums in the country. As a result, customers can enjoy live streaming and fast internet during the game.
