State-run telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL has introduced a change in one of its sub-Rs 500 price plans. This prepaid recharge plan of Rs 485 will now have less validity. But customers can now enjoy more internet data despite reduced validity. Apart from this, other facilities including calling remain as before. Let's take a look at the new benefits of BSNL's Rs 485 plan.
Old and new benefits of BSNL's Rs 485 plan
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL's Rs 485 prepaid recharge plan was earlier available with 82 days validity. But now if you recharge the plan you will get 80 days validity.
Although this plan was previously available with 1.5 GB internet data per day. Although now it has been increased to 500 MB. That means now 2 GB internet data will be available here every day. In that case earlier, BSNL's plan provided a total of 123 GB data. Now there is 160 GB total data available.
Now the question is natural that if you recharge the plan of 485 rupees now it will be a profit or a loss? The answer is if you think in terms of validity then this plan used to cost Rs 5.91 per day. But now the cost of this BSNL plan has increased to Rs.6.
However, data usage will now give more benefits to this plan. Because earlier 123 GB data was provided here, that is, 3.94 rupees were charged for each GB data. But now 160 GB data will be available, that is, the cost will be Rs 3 per GB.
