Xiaomi is currently reportedly gearing up to launch its first foldable phone with a clamshell design, which will debut as the Xiaomi Mix Flip. The handset was recently spotted on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) platform, with the listing revealing that the device will support 67W charging. And now a real-life image of the Xiaomi Mix Flip handset has been leaked for the first time on social media, showcasing the striking design of its rear panel.

The leaked image on Chinese micro-blogging site, Weibo, shows off the back of the Xiaomi MIX flip phone. As per the image, the rear shell of the device has a part above the cover screen, which houses the dual camera module with two LED flash. Notably, the module also features the Leica logo, which points to Xiaomi's partnership with the German camera maker known for its Mix Flip camera system. The bottom half of the back panel features the Xiaomi logo with a golden finish.
Talking about the specifications, the dual camera system of the Xiaomi Mix Flip phone is said to house a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and an Omnivision OV60A telephoto camera with 2x zoom capability and 1/2.8-inch sensor size. The device will support wireless charging and will also have protection against water. The foldable phone is expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and is also said to support satellite connectivity.
Also, a recent report mentioned that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will be available in several countries including Turkey, but it will not come to the Indian market. Xiaomi is likely to launch the Mix Flip alongside the book-style Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 foldable handset. As the name suggests, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is the company's fourth-generation foldable device, which will be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip as the Mix Flip.
It is also rumored that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 phone may have the same camera specifications as the Xiaomi Mix Flip with the addition of a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Both of Xiaomi's upcoming foldable phones are expected to offer incredibly slim bodies. They are likely to be claimed to be the slimmest foldables on the market at launch. While not much information about the upcoming devices in the Xiaomi Mix series is available yet, expect to know more about the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip soon.
