HMD Arrow: HMD's first smartphone coming to India with the name of customer choice

HMD Global has started launching smartphones with their own branding along with Nokia. Last month the company's budget range HMD Pulse series was launched in some regions of Europe. Recently the Finland-based brand launched a contest called #HMDNameOurSmartphone for their upcoming smartphone in India. Indians participating in this contest suggested numerous names for the upcoming smartphone of the HMD brand. Now finally HMD has revealed the name of their upcoming smartphone. They have confirmed that it will debut in the Indian market as the HMD Arrow. The company's current marketing strategy is to use different names for different regions. Although Indian users suggested various names like 'Indhumanoid', 'Manbha', 'Naruto', 'Brahmos', among all the name 'Arrow' has been chosen for the upcoming phone.

The HMD Arrow smartphone is coming to India soon

As mentioned earlier, HMD has launched a phone called HMD Pulse in Europe. The upcoming phone in India will have the same specifications as the HMD Pulse handset, but will be called the 'HMD Aero'. Whether this naming scheme is misleading or a successful regional strategy is ultimately up to smartphone users to decide.
