Xiaomi's flip style foldable phone Mix Flip is now coming to the global market by storm. Incidentally, Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip in China last month. The latter model is the company's first flip-style foldable phone. Meanwhile, the Mix Fold 4 is said to be available only in China, while the Mix Flip will be available in the global market. Ahead of the launch, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore found the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page for the global variant of the Xiaomi Mix Flip.
Xiaomi Mix Flip Global Variants RAM Storage and Color
According to Xiaomi Mix Flip's FAQ page, the global variant will be available in 12GB RAM / 16GB LPDDR5X RAM variant. Again it will come with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB USS 4.0 storage options. This storage variant will support 8GB, 16GB and 31GB virtual RAM.
The FAQ page also mentions that the global variant of the Mix Flip will come in Black, White and Purple editions with Panda X Glass. Xiaomi will also bring its Nylon Fiber Special Edition, which will feature a fiberglass substrate and nylon outer layer. It is believed that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will be launched this month or in September.
Xiaomi Mix Flip Specifications and Price
The Xiaomi MIX Flip smartphone has a 6.86-inch primary foldable LTPO AMOLED screen, which offers a resolution of 1224×2912 pixels. It also has a 4-inch AMOLED cover screen, which comes with a resolution of 1392×1208 pixels. Both screens support up to 120 Hz refresh rate.
Xiaomi Mix Flip has a 32-megapixel omnivision camera on the front. On the back is a dual camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Omnivision OVX8000 Leica-engineered primary camera and a 50-megapixel Omnivision OV60A telephoto camera with 60x optical zoom. The phone runs on Android 14 based HyperOS UI.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is used in this device for performance. It has a 4,780mAh battery with 67W rapid charging. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner. No information has been released yet on how much it will cost in the global market. In China, the price of the Xiaomi Mix Flip phone starts at 5,999 Yuan (around Rs. 70,000).
