Last year, Chinese smartphone brands focused on reducing battery size and increasing fast charging speed. But this year the trend is reversing. Long silicon battery is used in the phone instead of lithium ion and the fast charging speed is close to 100 watts. It provides efficient performance along with longer battery life. It is now rumored that Xiaomi may add a 7,500 mAh battery to their devices in the future.
Xiaomi will bring 7500mah battery smartphone
Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that Xiaomi is currently working on various fast charging solutions for their batteries. They are thinking about various configurations. For example – a 5,500mAh battery with 120W charging, which will fully charge in 18 minutes. On the other hand, a 5,500mAh battery will be fully charged in 34 minutes with 100W fast charging.
Also, Xiaomi is eyeing a 6,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, which will fully charge in 30 minutes. A 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging is also expected, which will fully charge in 49 minutes. 7,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging system will take 40 minutes to fully charge. Finally, the 7,500mAh battery, which will be fully charged in 63 minutes via 100W fast charging.
Notably, there are speculations that the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series may have a 6,000 mAh capacity silicon battery. And the 6,200 mAh battery could be seen in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra coming next year. With the way smartphone brands are approaching models with higher energy density, it won't take long for a 7,500 mAh battery phone to hit the market.
