Xiaomi is preparing to bring their next ‘T’ smartphones to market. They are reported to be on the market under Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. Recently, the upcoming phone was found on the IMEI certification site. As a result, the handsets will also be launched in the Global Market. Xiaomi 17t and Xiaomi 17t Pro Pel IMEI Certification
Two Xiaomi phones with 2602Ptc0G and 2602PTC0R model number were seen in the IMEI (IMEI) database. The report claims that these model numbers are associated with Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro respectively. Keep in mind that the brand’s ‘T’ lineup usually debut as the global version of the Redmi K series in China and they usually launch at the end of the year.
For example, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 15T series in late September. Accordingly, the successor model of the devices has already begun to appear on the certification site.
Xiaomi 17T series could be launched in February
It is not yet clear whether Xiaomi handsets will be brought to Xiaomi 16T or 17T. The company excludes Xiaomi 16 number for their flagship lineup and has used the ’17’ number directly to adjust the iPhone 17 series. And since the T series is a less expensive alternative to Shaomi’s main flagship lineup, the company can follow the same naming rules for these subsequent models.
Also noted in the recent report that the use of “2602” in model numbers indicates that they will be launched in February 2021. If this idea is correct, handsets can set foot in the market long before. Keep in mind that the codenm of the devices will be kept “Chagall” and “Warhol”.
The report also states that the Xiaomi 17T smartphone will have MediaTek Dimensity 3 chipset. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17T Pro model will be used by MediaTek Dimension 1 processor. Note that the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15t Pro device contains MediaTek Dimension 3 and MediaTek Dimension 3 Plus Chipset, respectively.
