Xiaomi is all set to launch its much-awaited flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone in the global market later this month. The company has announced that it will be unveiled on February 25. Speculations about it have been going on for several months and several important details about the phone have come to light recently through various reports. And now, a new report reveals the front design of the flagship handset in a better way. Apparently the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is going to bring a big change, which has never been seen in the brand’s ‘Ultra’ model. What is it? Let’s find out.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra may not get curved display
MySmartPrice has shared a new render of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Earlier they released another render, which showed the design of the rear panel. And now, the new image clearly shows the front of the phone. The renders show rounded corners with slim bezels on all four sides of the screen The punch hole cutout houses the selfie camera.
However, the most notable aspect is that the renders of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra confirm the presence of a flat display panel on the phone. Xiaomi’s ‘Ultra’ models have come with a curved screen along the side edges. But now it appears that the Chinese brand has decided to use a flat display panel in the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra. If the render is true, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model will be the brand’s first flagship smartphone with this change.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate, QuadHD+ resolution and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The phone’s punch-hole cutout houses a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
