Xbox Series S officially announced by the company on twitter and it is gonna be the more affordable and less powerful version of the Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S is touted to be the smallest Xbox console ever, marked by a distinctive grille on its body. Although the Microsoft owned gaming giant hasn’t announced any specifications, features, or launch details of the upcoming console.

The image shared by the Xbox twitter account shows a large black grill on the body of the Xbox Series S and no disc-inserting slot was spotted on the console and it suggests that the Xbox Series S would be a digital-only edition. The Xbox Series S will also come with a white color controller.

Xbox shared a small video trailer of Xbox Series S on Twitter, showing how the Xbox Series S could completely fit inside the Xbox Series X console body. This clears that the Xbox series gonna be very small compared Xbox series X. According to some reports, the Xbox Series S may support 1440p gaming at 120 Fps with four teraflops of GPU performance. It is expected to come with 7.5GB of usable RAM. The announcement tweet also mention that the Xbox Series S will deliver “next-gen performance.”
The Xbox Series S will come with custom 512GB NVMe SSD storage and also the xbox will support DirectX Raytracing with ultra-low latency. The Xbox will include 4K streaming media playback and 4K upscaling of Games.

Xbox confirmed the price via a tweet on twitter. Xbox Series S officially set to be priced at $299 ( Rs. 22000 approx ) and it will the smallest sized Xbox ever made. The Series S is said to come with a $25 (roughly Rs. 1,800) per month Xbox All Access financing option. The company revealed launch through a teaser video and set the launch on November 10. Xbox Series S is expected to debut with Xbox series X. The Xbox Series X is also rumored to be priced at $499 (roughly Rs. 36,800).
