Within days of the launch, the Vivo V40 was last seen on the GSF certification site

Vivo is gearing up to launch their next generation Vivo V40 series of smartphones. The upcoming lineup is expected to feature three smartphones, namely the standard Vivo V40, Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40e. And now the base Vivo V40 model has been spotted on the GCF certification platform. Let's see what the certification revealed about this upcoming phone.

Vivo V40 got GCF certification

As reported by MySmartPrice, the Vivo V40 phone has been listed on the GCF certification website with the model number V2348. The listing of this certification website did not reveal any specifications of the upcoming smartphone. But it definitely indicates that the Vivo V40 is going to be launched very soon. Besides, the device already appears in the IMEI database with the same model number.

Notably, the Vivo 40 Pro variant was recently spotted on UK carrier EE's (EE) website, which did not reveal any details about the upcoming smartphones other than the presence of Near Field Communication.

Note that according to a recent report by 91Mobiles Hindi, Vivo may launch their V40 lineup between August and September. Another variant called the Vivo V40 Lite is also rumored to have appeared on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group certification website. However, the current generation Vivo V30 series was launched in India in March this year. So the upcoming Vivo V40 series is not expected to enter the Indian market anytime soon.
