iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 8 and Neo Pro smartphones under its Neo series last May in the Chinese market. Also a few weeks ago, the brand also took the wraps off the new iQOO 11 series smartphone, the iQOO 11S. And after these launches, Aiko is currently said to be gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone in their Z-series. This device may enter the market as iQOO Z8. Ahead of the launch, a well-known tipster has revealed some of the phone’s specifications online. The iQOO Z8 will be the successor to the iQOO Z7 5G launched in China earlier this year. Let’s find out what information has come forward about the phone.
iQOO Z8 specifications revealed
The iCo Z8 will be a high-performance flagship phone with an LCD panel, claims tipster digital chat station. It will have a dual-cell battery consisting of two 2,440 mAh batteries. Also, the tipster said that it will support 120W fast charging technology. But apart from these, other specifications of the smartphone are still unknown. If, the iCo Z8 appears on any certification platform or benchmark in the next few days, then more information about it will be known. The official launch date of the device is also not confirmed, but the handset is expected to make its debut in the Chinese market by the end of August.
Notably, the predecessor to the iCo Z8, the iCo Z7 features a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, offering a 19:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole cutout. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 782G processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Also, the smartphone has a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Other features of the iQOO Z7 include a 16-megapixel selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, large 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging support.
Note that the phone has also been launched in India with different specifications compared to the Chinese variant. The Indian version of the iQOO Z7 5G features a 6.38-inch AMOLED display, which supports FullHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness and HDR10+. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 920 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of in-built storage.
Besides, the Z7 5G model launched in India offers a dual rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device is priced at Rs 18,999 in India and is available in Norway Blue and Pacific Night colors.
