What will the camera of Samsung’s most advanced phone be like? Surprisingly public information

Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra under its flagship S24 series in the first quarter of next year. It should be noted that the Galaxy S23 Ultra launched this year is Samsung’s first phone to come with a 200 megapixel camera. So will there be any big surprises in the camera department of the successor Galaxy S24 Ultra? The leaked camera specifications of the smartphone have now been able to give a clear idea about that.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Camera Specifications (Possible)

Citing Korean media, tipster Ice Universe claims that, like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the S24 Ultra is going to have a 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 primary camera + 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 ultra-wide lens + 10-megapixel Sony IMX754 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. However, the S24 Ultra is said to feature a slightly modified version of the 10-megapixel IMX754+ periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.

So, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera is likely to be the only major upgrade. Again, software and processing power upgrades are expected to play a role in the significant increase in camera performance.

Also, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to feature an LED flash on the back and laser autofocus. The tipster has not revealed any information about the selfie camera. However, it will likely offer a 12-megapixel selfie camera, which was used in the predecessor Galaxy S23 Ultra. Note that nothing is known about the camera specifications of the other two models of the upcoming Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm (Qualcomm) is expected to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset in October this year. Samsung Galaxy S24 series of phones whose overclocked version can be used. While Asia and North America have Snapdragon chips in the S24 lineup, in Europe the company may launch with its own Exynos 2400 processor.
